Duluth Replacing Play Structures At Two Parks
The removals this week will make way for more modern play equipment, city officials say.

DULUTH, GA — The City of Duluth will be removing children's play structures at two parks in the next few weeks, making way for more modern equipment.
The wooden "Train Water Tower" at Taylor Park will be replaced with a similar structure made from galvanized power coated steel, city officials said.
The new Taylor Park water tower structure will be expected to last for generations, according to the city.

The Church Street playground will be removed entirely to make way for another park amenity. The wooden playground structures at Church Street Park are outdated and in need of replacement, parks officials said.
The Parks and Recreation Department is asking the community for ideas to either design a new playground for the site or suggest another type of park equipment for the Church Street Park.
