Duluth Restaurant Has Food Permit Suspended
The eatery failed its state health inspection for the sixth time this year.

DULUTH, GA -- Go Gi House, a Korean restaurant on Gwinnett Place Drive in Duluth, has had its food permit suspended after repeatedly failing state health inspections.
The restaurant earned a failig 63 out of 100 during a February 1 inspection.
In their report, inspectors cited a host of problems. They included food debris stuck on items that were supposed to be clean and clean utensils being stored in a dirty container that had a dead fly in it.

Food, including fish cakes, was being stored at temperatures that were too warm and prepared foods, including bone soup, didn’t have date markings on them to show when they were too old and needed to be thrown out.
For the third time, inspectors also cited the restaurant for not having a manager who appeared to be aware of how to follow state law for proper food handling and service. The report says that a manager and owner only arrived after the inspection was halfway complete.

Go Gi House had previously received scores of 87, a B, and 100, an A, on its past two inspections. But over the past year, it has failed -- getting a grade lower than 70 out of 100 -- six times, now.
The restaurant will be re-inspected in the near future to see if it will be allowed to re-open.
