New Brew Pub To Open in Parson's Alley: Report

It's one of seven restaurants planned for the redevelopment project in downtown Duluth.

DULUTH, GA — The team behind the Brick Store Pub, a popular nightlife spot in Decatur, is hoping to work the same magic in Duluth with a new brew pub, according to a media report.

They plan to open the Good Word Brew Pub in Parsons Alley, a project to redevelop seven historic buildings in downtown Duluth, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported Friday.

The new pub will total 7,500 square feet, and will be designed by Atlanta's Square Feet Studio, according to the Chronicle. No opening date was announced.

The Good Word Brew Pub is one of seven restaurants coming to Parson's Alley, along with a Korean steakhouse, a doughnut shop and a barbecue joint, the Chronicle reported. The pub's owners plan to offer "approachable beers and mixed fermentations such as sours and IPAs."
