1. Gwinnett police are hosting ‘Operation Children Thrive’ backpack drive that will provide students with the supplies they need for the 2021-2022 school year. Donation boxes will be located at all police stations. (Atlanta Journal Constitution)
2. The Gwinnett school board appointed two new principals for Graves Elementary and Hopkins Elementary. (Atlanta Journal Constitution)
3. With the recent sign unveiling, officials cement Infinite Energy Center's renaming as the Gas South District. The name change comes because Infinite Energy is located in Florida, while Gas South is located in the greater Atlanta area. (Gwinnettdailypost.com)
4. Gwinnett Tech student, Jenny Moss, was one of four university students to be awarded with the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture scholarship for $1,500. (Gwinnettdailypost.com)
