Police Identify The Man Who Died In Saturday Shootout
Authorities have identified the man who died after a "dark shawdowy figure" was seen before of a Duluth shootout between 2 men, police said.
DULTUH, GA -- Authorities have identified the man who died after a "dark shawdowy figure" was seen before of a Dacula shootout between 2 men, police said.
The victim has been identified as Nicolai Manget, 20, of Loganville.

The Gwinnett County Police Department Homicide Unit is currently investigating the homicide that occurred around 11:15 p.m. Officers assigned to the Central Precinct were dispatched to a "person shot" call at the Prescott Apartments, located at 1655 Centerview Drive, Duluth, when witnesses called 911 about hearing gunshots and someone screaming.
When officers arrived, they located two men separated from each other in the woodline behind the property. The two men were alive, but both were suffering from gunshot wounds. One man was shot in the shoulder and the other man was shot in the chest. They were transported to the hospital by EMS.

Detectives and CSI were called to the scene to investigate. According to one of the men, they were walking around the apartment community when they were confronted by a "dark shadowy figure" and ultimately shot.
At 6:43 a.m., the hospital contacted the detective and notified him that the victim with the chest wound died from his injuries.
