Police Seek Men Who Robbed Gold Chains From Duluth Jeweler

Police say they asked to try on some gold chains, then ran off without paying.

DULUTH, GA — Two men robbed Intrigue Jewelers in Duluth on Saturday, Nov. 2, according to Gwinnett police. Authorities are asking the public's help in finding the men pictured.

Police were called to the jewelry store, at 2100 Pleasant Hill Rd., around 8 p.m. that day, where an employee told them two men walked in soon after 7 p.m. and asked to see gold chains.

He gave them the chains to try on, he told police, but they ran away without paying.

The jewelry store provided police with surveillance footage, showing the suspects.

One is a white man wearing a red sweatshirt with "Vans" on the front. He was wearing gray pants with black and white shoes, and police say he stole a 27-inch rope chain.

The other suspect is a black man wearing a white Puma sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, white shoes and a blue baseball camp. He stole a 20-inch chain with a charm with the letters "CZ" in the center, police say.

The Gwinnett County Police Department’s Robbery Unit is investigating the case and anybody with information is asked to call the department's detectives at 770-513-5300.
