RECORDING INSTRUCTOR - TIM WHEELER
Tim has been involved with virtually every aspect of the music business all his life – either writing, recording, teaching, or performing. After high school he was in many rock bands and used to record in studios, but he was always on the “other side of the glass”. In the late 90’s and early 2000’s Tim had a crude “studio” using a pc with Sonar Cakewalk and a keyboard. In late 2004, he made the jump into the Mac world and Pro Tools. That is the system he still uses today. He now is owner and chief engineer for his professional recording studio, DoubleSharp Music Recording based in Lawrenceville, recording everything from rock bands to jazz combos.
