- GWINNETT SCHOOLS: The first day of classes following the Christmas break is Tuesday, Jan. 7, (weather permitting);
- GWINNETT COMMISSIONERS: The county's Board of Commissioners will hold their first 2014 meeting on Tuesday;
- PUPPET SHOW: The event at the Gwinnett library branch will be Wednesday;
- GWINNETT GLADIATORS: Gwinnett's pro hockey team will have home games this week at the arena.
