Train or Treat returns to the Southeastern Railway Museum

The Southeastern Railway Museum will host Train or Treat from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.

The Southeastern Railway Museum will host Train or Treat from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.

Attendees can trick or treat throughout the museum and also enjoy hayrides (for a donation), handcar rides (for $2), apple cider and temporary tattoos and face painting. There will be live music and food for sale.
Attendees can participate in costume contests at noon and 3 p.m.

Meanwhile, in early November, the museum will host Model Railroad Days.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, and Sunday, Nov. 4 and coincides with the 16th Annual Piedmont Pilgrimage. In addition to the museum's regular exhibits, the two-day event features a layout designed by North Georgia Modurail, a memorabilia sale and guest speakers discussing model railroading.

Tickets for both events are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $7 for children. Admission includes model train layouts. Train rides are available for an additional charge.
