Two Women Charged With Duluth Murder: Police

DULUTH, GA—The Gwinnett County Police Department has arrested two women in connection with a Feb. 5 murder that occurred on Pleasant Hill Road. Silvia Najarro, 19, of Lilburn and Jayce Villafana-Diaz, 19, Lilburn are facing murder and aggravated assault charges.
Earlier this month, officers responded to a reported shooting at the Shell Gas Station, which is located at 1515 Pleasant Hill Road in unincorporated Duluth.
At the time, officers were unable to locate the victim, 20-year old Jamun El Winslow of Lawrenceville, in the parking lot.

Concerned for the victim’s safety, officers say they canvassed the area.
The victim was eventually located in front of some apartments at 3740 Club Drive, just a short distance away.

His vehicle, a silver passenger car, was disabled in the roadway from a possible accident. Officers approached the vehicle and located the victim deceased inside.
The suspects in the case are currently behind bars at the Gwinnett County jail.
Police have not said what led up to the shooting and continue to seek tips as part of the investigation.
