DULUTH, GA — A gas station clerk in Duluth took control of a robbery situation in October by taking a gun from the robber, video from the incident shows.

Police say Jalen Bridgewaters, 19, of Duluth, went into the Shell gas station at 3841 Satellite Blvd. on Oct. 21 and tried to rob the clerk. Surveillance footage, provided to Patch by the Gwinnett County Police Department, shows the masked suspect put the gun on the counter and under the protective partition, pointing it at the clerk.

The clerk, identified by Fox Atlanta as Mir Ali, quickly took action, grabbing the gun. After a brief struggle, Ali came out with the gun.
