Where To Find A Christmas Tree In 2020 Near Duluth
Many local Christmas tree providers are taking COVID-19 precautions to ensure you and your family enjoy a jolly holiday.
Duluth, GA — As the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic threatens a long list of 2020’s quintessential holiday traditions, it may still be possible to hunt for the ideal Christmas tree this year — and do it safely.
At least 25 million real Christmas trees are sold each year across America, and currently, 350 million are growing in all 50 U.S. states. And during this unprecedented year, Christmas tree lots and choose-and-cut farms nationwide are taking precautions as the COVID-19 pandemic worsens to ensure buyers can select their ideal tree with minimal risk to their health and safety.
In fact, the National Christmas Tree Association has created a 2020 guide with recommendations and best practices for Christmas tree providers to follow. Sellers are advised to frequently sanitize items such as hand saws and tree cart handles, as well as countertops, restrooms and other areas. An onsite "COVID-19 coordinator" and touchless, paperless payment systems are also being encouraged.
