City Adds New Streets to Sidewalk Construction List

The Dunwoody City Council expanded its sidewalk construction plan this week.

The council voted Monday to add segments of Peeler Road, Dunwoody Club Drive, Tilly Mill Road, Happy Hollow Road, Perimeter Center East, Spalding Drive, Village Creek Drive and Mount Vernon Place to the list of roads needing sidewalks, according to Reporter Newspapers.

Since the city’s plan was first adopted in 2010, the city has built or is building about seven miles of sidewalks, Smith wrote in a memorandum to the council. Another five miles was added to the list, he said.
