Cocktails For The Cup Presented by Jim Ellis Audi Marietta

Event to include cocktails, silent auction and Atlanta's elite to benefit The Silverton Foundation

Blue Giraffe Sports and Aja Restaurant and Bar in Buckhead will be hosting a charity event on Thursday, September 11 to celebrate the culmination of the 2014 professional golf season here in Atlanta. Cocktails For The Cup (CFTC) has become a staple in Atlanta’s fall social calendar while benefitting a select charity each year through the gathering of Atlanta’s elite and those in the professional golf world. The 2014 edition of Cocktails For The Cup will donate a portion of its proceeds to a deserving local charity through donations, ticket sales, and outstanding corporate support.

For the second year in a row, the beneficiary of CFTC is The Silverton Foundation, a mortgage, rent and short-term housing assistance program that helps families with hospitalized or critically-ill children maintain their homes and reduce their emotional and financial burdens. “We look forward to celebrating the end of the golf season in Atlanta and joining many of our friends, colleagues, clients and Atlanta’s Best for the 7th edition of Cocktails for the Cup,” said Blue Giraffe Sports Co-Founder Matt Judy. “The Silverton Foundation is a very deserving, charity and we are honored that they are willing to work with us for a second year to raise money for families and children in need.”

Cocktails For The Cup looks to tie together charity and the Atlanta golf community by gathering many of the local and national professional players, personalities, and support staff who will be in town the week of CFTC. The public is invited to support this worthy cause by purchasing a limited number of tickets available for a short time for $50 by visiting www.cocktailsforthecup.info. Ticket price includes admission, food and drinks. Attire is business casual.
