Dunwoody Church Volunteer Named Male-Student Athlete of the Month
Tyler Reid, an Amy's Holiday Party Volunteer selling pumpkins and trees for Dunwoody United Methodist Church, was named Male Student-Athlete of the Month by Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and XL212 sports management and marketing agency.

Among many other things, Tyler Reid is an Amy's Holiday Party Volunteer selling pumpkins and trees for Dunwoody United Methodist Church.
He's also a junior football player from North Springs Charter High School and was named Male Student-Athlete of the Month by Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and XL212 sports management and marketing agency.
In his one year as a quarterback and team captain, Reid, completed 160 passes for 2090 yards with 15 touchdowns while setting the school record for passing yards in a single season. He also had 150 yards rushing and two touchdowns. He is also a standout baseball player.
In the classroom, he maintains a 4.0 GPA and has been a Super Honor Roll Student since 2011. Reid is a Duke TIP Scholar and North Springs VIP.

His other extra curricular activities include being a member of National Honor Society, FBLA, Junior Achievement, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Interact Club and was a member of group that made 300,000 meals for children in Latin America.
In addition to Reid's activities at DUMC, he runs his own business helping people with tech problems and electronics.Coach Steve Horton said “He is an incredibly intelligent young man who works hard on and off the field; a leader in our community, our campus and our sports teams. He is a joy to coach.”
