Dunwoody Diamond Thief On The Loose: Police
An unidentified man stole two diamonds worth $21,000 last week from a local jewelry store, say Dunwoody police.

DUNWOODY, GA — The Dunwoody police are asking the public for tips to locate the man who stole a pair of diamonds last week from a local jewelry store worth about $21,000. The theft took place at around 11 a.m. on Nov. 22, the police said on their Facebook page. They did not give the location of the store.
The man entered the store asking to see a 1.5-carat diamond, the police said, and then asked to see a 2 carat diamond. When presented with the second diamond, he fled the store with both pieces.
The thief is described by police as a black man, about 6 feet tall, with black hair and brown eyes. In surveillance photos, he was wearing a white dress shirt and dark pants.
