Awesome Opossums
December 5, 2020 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Come learn about our misunderstood friends in the forest — the opossum! Do you think opossums are awesome? We hope you do and if you don’t – you might after coming to our event! Opossum’s are the only marsupial in North America! We will learn all about this often misunderstood mammal. Come check out our live opossums and join local author Gina Gallois as she shares her wonderful opossum-themed children’s books during a story time with puppets geared toward young children. All programs are free, family-friendly and open to the public. We ask that you please wear a mask and dress appropriately for the weather as the event is all outdoors. In case of inclement weather the event will be cancelled. Registration is required.
