LifeLine Animal Project wants to help you save money and take care of your pet. If you’re looking to save some money on your pet’s vaccinations, you won’t want to miss LifeLine’s low-cost shot clinic this Saturday, January 24th, from 10am-1pm, at our Avondale Clinic. We will have vaccinations, heartworm or combo testing, microchipping, and more! No appointment is needed and the vet exam is FREE! Are you, or anyone you know, having trouble affording a spay or neuter for a pet? If you’re a DeKalb County resident, you can take advantage of DeKalb County Animal Services SNIP Dekalb program which provides free spay/neuters, including vaccinations, for those in financial need. Simply print and fill out the SNIP DeKalb application and send it in. When approved, a voucher for the free spay/neuter and instructions will be mailed to you.

Finally, there is just over a week left in our “Ring in the New Year With a New Pet” promotion, where you can adopt a dog or cat from DeKalb County Animal Services for no fee! The pet will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and you’ll pay nothing! All applicants will be screened to ensure the pets go to good homes.

DeKalb County Animal Services Pet of the Week: Twister

This week’s Pet of the Week is a very happy and energetic boy named Twister. Twister is a lively two-year-old Labrador mix who always has a smile on his face when he is with you. He loves going for walks, chasing balls and playing with other dogs. Twister is very handsome, and his shiny black coat is sure to turn some heads. He loves kids and would make a loyal and loving family member. Please come meet him and adopt him for FREE under our “Ring in the New Year with a New Pet” promotion!
