Monday Essentials: Congressman Nearby, Virtual 10K, Doggie Fundraiser

U.S. Rep. Tom Price. The Republican Congressman is guest speaker at the Sandy Springs Rotary Club luncheon, Monday, at Hilton Perimeter Suites.

Toastmasters Weekly Meeting. Northwest Perimeter Toastmasters meets at noon, Wednesdays, at One Concourse Parkway, Suite 140. Doggie Fundraiser. In celebration of International Dog Day, Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint is hosting a fundraiser for Angels Among Us Pet Rescue donating 10 percent of all sales from 5 -10 p.m. to Angels Among Us Pet Rescue to assist them in continuing to find loving homes for dogs and cats all over the Atlanta metro area.  

iRad Next Step Virtual 10K Challenge. Run/walk/jog with a friend, alone, on a treadmill, or outdoors - Just Keep Moving. You will have a weekend (four days) to complete your 10K.
