Dunwoody's Alarm Registration On the Way

Dunwoody is soon looking to register alarms as part of its false alarm ordinance.

A Reporter Newspapers article on several cities' efforts to curb these types of calls quotes Dunwoody police chief Billy Grogan as saying he thinks that the ordinance "will make a significant impact on our false alarm calls" and hopefully lead to less of them.

Atlanta and Sandy Springs also have false alarm ordinances with upcoming registration announcements and deadlines, the article said.
