PICS: Thousands Attend Butterfly Festival In Dunwoody

Nearly 4,000 come out for the Dunwoody Nature Center's 24th annual Butterfly Festival.

DUNWOODY, GA -- The largest butterfly festival in metro Atlanta went off with flying colors this past weekend. Nearly 4,000 people came out to enjoy the Dunwoody Nature Center’s 24th annual Butterfly Festival, organizers said. Set up in three tents, the butterfly displays were presented by Cox Enterprises.

The event has long been a family favorite for north Fulton County. The festival ended with a rousing performance by the Dunwoody High School Drumline.
