Storms, Rain Greet Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday Morning
Forecasts call for more of the same through the weekend.

PEACHTREE CITY, GA -- Much of metro Atlanta and north Georgia woke up Tuesday morning to the sound of thunder, brief flashes and lightening, and moderate rain, with some rain coming down in brief spurts of heavy accumulation.
And forecasts call for some more unsettled weather through the rest of the working week, although no severe thunderstorm threats are in the forecast.
The National Weather Service is calling for a daily chance of showers and thunderstorms through Saturday.

Wednesday will feature the highest temperatures of the week with highs set to climb into the low to mid-80s F.
On Thursday, a cool, easterly breeze will cause temperatures to drop into the low 70s, which is 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit below normal.
Temperatures are expected to rise as the weekend approaches, but still mixtures of cloudy, rain and storms all the way until the start of next week.
