- Jewish Community Relations Council of Atlanta. The Jewish Community Relations Council of Atlanta honors Ruth Messinger for a lifetime of service to social justice in the U.S. and around the world. Messinger has been president of American Jewish World Service (AJWS) since 1998. 7:30- 9 p.m., Tuesday, at Temple Sinai 5645 Dupree Drive.
