Week Ahead: President of American Jewish World Service Honored

  • Jewish Community Relations Council of Atlanta. The Jewish Community Relations Council of Atlanta honors Ruth Messinger for a lifetime of service to social justice in the U.S. and around the world. Messinger has been president of American Jewish World Service (AJWS) since 1998. 7:30- 9 p.m., Tuesday, at Temple Sinai 5645 Dupree Drive.

  • Toastmasters Weekly Meeting. Northwest Perimeter Toastmasters meets at noon, Wednesdays, at One Concourse Parkway, Suite 140. Attendees network personally and professionally while developing communication and leadership skills.
