Weekender: Comedy, Music and Clean, Fix and Shine-up Day

- Celebs Make Mall Appearances. Designer Donald J. Pliner and Disney star Debby Ryan will appear at Perimeter Mall, this weekend. Folks can see Pliner from 10 a.m.-3 .m., Friday. Ryan will appear at Von Maur at Perimeter Mall from noon to 2:30 p.m., Saturday. She will also make an appearance from 1-3:30 p.m., Sunday, at Von Maur in North Point Mall, in Alpharetta.
- Clean, Fix, Shine-Up Dunwoody Day 2013. Dunwoody’s annual event at Brook Run Park is held in partnership with Trees Atlanta. Participants will plant 300 trees and perform general park maintenance. 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday. 4770 North Peachtree Road.
- Oktoberfest. Enjoy authentic German food, the launch of our 2013 Hefeweizen and Oktoberfest Lager, at 5 Seasons Brewing. Plus live German - style music throughout the day. 11 a.m., Saturday. $25 per person for all the Oktoberfest food you care to enjoy or $25 per person for all the beer you care to enjoy,or $45 per person for all the beer and Oktoberfest food you care to enjoy.
- Stand-up Comedy. Comedian and "The Talk" host Aisha Tyler performs at The Punchline, on Friday and Saturday.
- Lionel Richie performs his hits at Chastain Park Amphitheatre, Friday.
- Martina McBride performs at Chastain Park Amphitheatre, Saturday.
