15 Allstate agency owners earn $15,000 grant for Newnan’s Bridging the Gap
The Allstate Foundation grant to support nonprofit's work helping community members in need
Fifteen Allstate agency owners from Newnan and the surrounding area recently came together to secure a $15,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® grant to benefit Bridging the Gap. The grant will support the nonprofit organization’s mission to distribute food, toiletries and household items to community members in need of help.
The Allstate agency owners each earned $1,000 for Bridging the Gap’s community outreach efforts by organizing a donation drive. As part of the drive, the volunteers collected and sorted food and household items donated by the community at the nonprofit organization in May. Bridging the Gap will use the $15,000 grant to further its work in the community.
The participating Allstate agency owners are among thousands of agency owners and financial specialists around the country working to strengthen communities by volunteering their time to support the causes they care about most.
