Enjoy the Fall Roots Festival at Edgewood Community Learning Garden Sunday,Nov. 15

This free, family-oriented event is scheduled for 1-4 p.m. and will feature a DJ, kids' games, food tastes, face painting and more.

The Wylde Center, one of metro Atlanta’s premier environmental organizations, will host its Fall Roots Festival Sunday, Nov. 15 from 1-4 p.m. at the Edgewood Community Learning Garden, 1503 Hardee Street, Atlanta, GA 30307. The free event is open to the public and will feature a DJ, kids’ games, food tastes from the garden, face painting and refreshments from food trucks the Mobile Marlay and VietNomie’s, and will be held rain or shine. www.wyldecenter.org

“We want everyone to come see the progress we’ve made at the Edgewood Community Learning Garden,” said Derek Pinson, ECLG site manager and garden coach. “Thanks to our partnership with the Zeist Foundation, the nearly one-acre garden features a pollinator garden, rain garden, pond, raised vegetable beds, mushroom logs, chicken coop, teaching pergola and a tree house with a slide and tire swing.”
