Gluten-free restaurant coming to Grant Park

Two former New York bookstore managers are opening up a new, gluten-free restaurant in Grant Park next year.

WhatNowAtlanta is reporting that Mediterranea will open at 330 Ormond Street in a building that has been unoccupied since 1992.

Gerard Nudo and Gary McElroy previously operated Rizzoli Bookstore in Manhattan.

Mediterranea says it will feature  “healthy, farm fresh, gluten-free fare” including vegetarian and vegan options. An onsite bakery will also produce gluten-free baked goods.
