Mediterranea Plans Full Opening This Month

ATLANTA, GA – Mediterranea, a new restaurant in Grant Park, promises to open fully later this month.

On Friday, the restaurant posted that it was open until noon. The spot is currently open on a limited basis, serving mostly baked goods. The full restaurant is due to debut in late January.

The restaurant, which includes a bakery, will sell pastries, cookies and muffins alongside traditional Mediterranean fare. It is located in the historic building on 332 Ormond St.

"Tried some of their baked goods, and wow! I cannot wait for the full opening," a reviewer said on Google. "It'll be a great addition to the food scene here."

Co-owner Gerard Nudo told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution: “With its emphasis on simply prepared foods, especially vegetables, the Mediterranean way of eating is delicious, sustainable and healthy.”
