Atlanta police say they have a suspect in the Nov. 9 shooting of Police Officer Christopher L. Smith at an Edgewood apartment complex.
Jemarcus Deshun Jordan, 23, is charged with felony aggravated assault.
Smith, who was shot in the face and leg, was working an off-duty shift at the Edgewood Apartments, at 1572 Hardee St. NE, when the 10 p.m. occurred.
He was hospitalized and subsequently released.
Jordan remains in the DeKalb County Jail.
