UPDATE: Missing SE Atlanta Girl Found Safe

Twelve-year-old Diamond Eley was located Sunday night in Southeast Atlanta.

Update - Dec. 9, 2013 at 10:10 a.m.

On Dec. 8 shortly before 9 p.m., the Atlanta Police Department cancelled the missing child alert for 12-year-old Diamond Eley. She was located Sunday night in Southeast Atlanta and is safe. No other details were provided.

From the Atlanta Police Department:

Atlanta Police Investigators are asking for assistance in locating a missing child. Twelve-year-old Diamond Eley was last seen in the 800 block of Marion Ave in Southeast Atlanta around 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 4, 2013.

She is described as

  • 5’6” tall
  • weighing 115 to 130 pounds
  • has short hair.
She was last seen wearing a black shirt, black jacket, black skull cap and red tights. At this time no foul play is suspected and it is possible that Eley may have ran away from home.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Atlanta Police Youth Squad at 404.546.4260.
