TEAM UP. RAISE FUNDS. HAVE FUN. TRANSFORM PARKS!

This fall, Park Pride is hosting a new fundraising and volunteer experience (with a unique twist!) that will make a huge difference for parks across Atlanta. Don your plaid and wrangle your friends - it's time to#GetYourPlaidOn at Plaid Palooza on November 4th!

TEAM UP: Plaid Palooza will bring over 200 Atlantans together in the spirit of making a transformative change to our city's parks, beginning in Historic Fourth Ward Park. Form a team with up to 10 of your friends, select a plaid pattern that represents your collective enthusiasm and style, and join us for the most plaid-tastic gathering of people making a positive difference in parks that Atlanta has ever seen!

RAISE FUNDS:
Dollars raised by you and each member of your team will fund the Plaid Palooza project in Historic Fourth Ward Park, a project which will fulfill the park's master plan. Funds will also benefit Park Pride programs which improve parks and strengthen communities all across the City of Atlanta and DeKalb County.

Each participant is asked to raise $150. Together, we hope to raise more than $40,000 for parks and greenspace!

HAVE FUN:
Plaid Palooza will be an amazing, fun, family-friendly opportunity to engage with other park enthusiasts and make a difference in our city... all while wearing a ridiculous amount of plaid!

Volunteers will enjoy a post-Plaid Palooza picnic in the park, complete with a delicious catered lunch, games, music, and PRIZES! Everyone loves a bit of healthy competition; prizes will be awarded to teams and individuals for fundraising, volunteering and plaid-tastic challenges. You've got to be in it to win it!
