Weekend Forecast: Perfect Weather for Fall Festivals, Football

This is the weather fall festival organizers envisioned when they started planning their events:

We get all of that this weekend, according to the National Weather Service, which forecasts highs in the 80s, lows in the 60s and enough sunshine for everyone.

And if you’re planning to take in a high school football game Friday night, a light jacket might be a good idea, but otherwise, the weather will be perfect.

• Friday: Sunny, with a high near 84. Northeast wind around 5 mph.
• Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
• Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
• Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 64. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
• Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.
• Sunday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66.
