A sighting of Gyasi was reported about 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Powers Ferry and Delk roads, Bowman said. The child reportedly carried a bag, possibly for trick-or-treating.

The AJC reports the boy went out despite being grounded for not doing his homework and quoted his stepfather saying that Gyasi likely stayed overnight with a friend.
