Acclaimed Nazi Hunter To Speak In East Cobb

Efraim Zuroff will talk about his unique life experiences on Nov. 7 at Chabad of Cobb in Marietta.

MARIETTA, GA β€” Efraim Zuroff, a world renowned historian and Nazi hunter who has played a key role in bringing indicted Nazi and fascist war criminals to trial will visit East Cobb in November to deliver a fascinating talk about his experiences and life's work.
His lecture titled 'Nazi Hunting' will be held on Wednesday, November 7 at 7:30 pm, at the Chabad of Cobb. Attendees will hear a most riveting lecture on the adventures, successes, failures and insights of a man who has spent 36 years bringing Nazi criminals to justice all over the world.
How did he become a Nazi-hunter? How do we hunt Nazis today? And what has he learned from his experiences in the field? Will all be part of what he will discuss.
Dr. Zuroff is the director of the Simon Wiesenthal Center office in Jerusalem, and the coordinator of Nazi war crimes research worldwide for the Wiesenthal Center and the author of its annual "Status Report" on the worldwide investigation and prosecution of Nazi war criminals, which includes a list of "most wanted" Nazi war criminals.
"As time goes by and the younger generation knows less and less about what the Nazi's did and the pursuit of justice that followed, having Dr. Zuroff talk in our community is an opportunity we are lucky to be able to offer in East Cobb" said Rabbi Ephraim Silverman, the director of Chabad of Cobb who is hosting Dr. Zuroff's lecture.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at www.cobbjewishacademy.org
