UPDATE: East Cobb Standoff Ends Peacefully, Shooter In Custody
Cobb County Police tweeted just after noon Tuesday that they had arrested the unidentified gunman on Kingsley Drive.
UPDATE: An armed standoff ended peacefully Tuesday when Cobb County Police took an unidentified gunman into custody.
His arrest came after several hours of negotiation with a SWAT team. No injuries were reported, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

EAST COBB, GA — Residents of Newcastle subdivision are being advised to stay inside after a gunman opened fire in the neighborhood.
The unidentified shooter is barricaded inside a home in the 7200 block of Kingsley Drive, where shots were fired, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

WSB-TV in Atlanta reported that police received a 911 call at about 5:30 a.m. reporting gunshots. When officers arrived at the scene, they said they saw a man shooting inside and outside the house.
A SWAT unit is on the scene. As of about 11:30 a.m., according to a tweet from Cobb County Police, it was still negotiating with the shooter.
