After 43 Years In Business, Cobb County Grocery Store To Close
Founded in 1976, Life Grocery, a pioneer in the organic and natural food market, will close its doors at the end of this month.

COBB COUNTY, GA—After 43 years in business, a popular grocery store is set to close its doors for good by the end of this month. Founded in 1976, Life Grocery has been a pioneer in the organic and natural food market. However, increased competition from larger stores along with rising costs have made it difficult for the store to stay afloat, according to the store's owners.
"We have been unable to update aging equipment and our physical facility," the store's owners said in a news release. "Additionally, our primary distributor has been unable to consistently provide us with quality products that our customers deserve, as they prioritize fulfilling orders for the bigger stores."
Coupled with the changing market conditions and shopping culture, the store owners said they can no longer operate the store profitably.

We also want to acknowledge our dedicated employees, especially our long-term managers who have been with us between 17-25 years. It has been a pleasure being of service to the community."
