Apply To Be A Cobb County Poll Worker, $115 On Election Day
Poll workers get paid for training, set up and poll work itself. Here's a list of requirements and how to register.
COBB COUNTY, GA — The Cobb County Board of Elections is looking for people to work at THE POLLS during the 2020 elections cycle, the county government said in a social media post.
New workers have to attend at least one training class before beginning. The classes pay $30.
Other payments include $15 for helping to set up the poll and $115 for Election Day.

The requirements are that applicants must:
- be a U.S. citizen
- be a Cobb County resident
- be at least 16 years old
- be able to read, write and speak English
- not have a felony conviction in the past 10 years
Workers must arrive at 6 a.m. on Election Day and stay until all voters leave and closing is completed.
