Back-to-Back Running Events at Miller Park Next Week
The "Mustache Dache" 5K will be followed by the "Flavor Run" Atlanta-Marietta 5K, organizers say.
Cobb County runners can tackle a pair of 5K races being held consecutively at Jim Miller Park in Marietta next weekend.
Leading off at 8 a.m. Nov. 7 is the “Mustache Dache” (Dash) 5K, which will donate its proceeds to various men’s health causes. Participants are encouraged to sport their best ‘stache (real or otherwise) and will be treated to a t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, free photos, and post-race festivities. Registration costs $40 and can be completed online
At 11 a.m., runners will set off for the Flavor Run Atlanta-Marietta 5K, which benefits local organizations and businesses and features fruit-flavored color powder as part of its “unique experience that engages all the senses,” according to East Cobber Magazine.

Registration for the Flavor Run costs $29 until Nov. 7 and can be completed online.
