Chequers Seafood + Steak Offers Copper River Salmon for a Limited Time
Catch the world's most uncatchable fish this summer in East Cobb.
Copper River Salmon is among the finest tasting salmon in the world, but is an almost impossible catch - almost. Chequers is providing guests with a prized seasonal offering of the world’s freshest varieties of salmon.
Available on the dinner menu beginning, Monday, June 23, Executive Chef James Dennerline will feature Grilled Copper River Salmon with a choice of two seasonal sides.
The Copper River, tracing 300-miles of rugged Alaskan waters is one of the longest and most challenging salmon migrations in the world. The arduous journey made by Copper River King and Sockeye Salmon requires these magnificent fish to carry extra stores of fat that are also rich in healthy Omega-3 fatty acids, giving each salmon the superb flavor and texture sought after by Chef Dennerline and other renowned chefs around the world.
“The Copper River salmon is a seasonal treat,” said Dennerline in a release. “The rich and flavorful salmon is rare and we are lucky to have a provider deliver it fresh every week during the summer season.”
Copper River Salmon is only available three to four weeks each year. The naturally-high oil content, red coloring and firm texture make Copper River Salmon perfect for preparations and pairings that showcase its succulent flavor. Once the Copper River Salmon reach the shore, they are flown fresh out of Cordova, Alaska directly to our kitchen. Quantity is limited and guests are encouraged to call for availability ahead of time.
