MARIETTA, GA -- Do you really know how clean your favorite restaurant or coffee shop is? Sure, you love the food but it seems to taste better when you know what the score from their latest food inspection.

Here are some restaurant and food service inspections conducted recently in Kennesaw and other parts of Cobb County. To see more information about the eating establishments, click on the date or score.

Each item is valued between 1 and 9 on an inspection form. Points can be deducted (often shown in red) as well. More points can be taken based on the greater risk of sickness and repeat violations be mean even more subtracted from a restaurant's score.
Scores from 90 to 100 are signified by the letter A. From 89 to 80 is a B, from 79 to 70 is a C and a U is for less than 70.

  • Inspector: "Observed employee come from outside, rinse his hands, then proceeded to start working.CA: Employee must wash his hands with soap and water after coming from outside for 15 to 20 seconds.COS: Employee washed his hands. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.."
  • "Observed cold holding temperature violation at the pizza prep station(chicken, ham, and pepperoni)and sandwich station (salami and ham on bottom). CA: Potentially hazardous cold hold items must be maintained at 41F or below.COS: Ham and pepperoni discarded. Other items placed in the freezer to rapidly chill. Corrected On-Site.
