Duck Donuts Opening First East Cobb Location

The first 25 customers in line will receive coupon for a free dozen. Raffles will also be held throughout opening day.

MARIETTA, GA — Duck Donuts has announced the grand opening of its first franchise location in East Cobb. Georgia's fourth store's grand opening will be Saturday, July 13 at 8 am. Owned by the mother and son duo of Christine and Andrew Doring, the store is located in the Merchant’s Way Shopping Center at 1281 Johnson Ferry Road.

“Every year we have the pleasure of enjoying Duck Donuts during our family vacations in the Outer Banks of North Carolina,” said Andrew Doring. “As a brand that holds a special place in our family’s hearts, we could not be more excited to open our very own store, providing the same happiness to the people of East Cobb.”

To celebrate the opening, the first 25 customers will receive a coupon for a free dozen donuts and raffle drawings for fun Duck Donuts retail items will take place throughout the day. In addition, there will be a special prize package for the first and 100th person in line Saturday morning.

The 1,350-square-foot store reflects the franchise’s newly redesigned beach theme and family-friendly atmosphere with indoor seating. The Marietta location will also serves Duck Donuts’ signature coffee blends—Riptide Roast, Light House Blend, and Sunset Pier Decaf, tea, espresso, OBX donut breakfast sandwiches, donut sundaes, select retail items and more.

Customers can create their own donut combination by choosing from a variety of coatings, toppings and drizzles. The stores offer a viewing area where children and adults alike can watch their donuts being made.

Duck Donuts was founded in 2006 by Russ DiGilio in Duck, North Carolina. By 2011, Duck Donuts had expanded to four Outer Banks locations, with the first franchise opening in Williamsburg, Virginia, in 2013. There are now 83 open franchise locations in two countries and more than 145 additional contracts in 26 states.
