East Cobb State Rep. To Chair Committee On Entertainment Industry
State Rep. Matt Dollar, R-Marietta, will chair the House's committee overseeing Georgia's entertainment industry and the jobs it creates.

EAST COBB, GA — State Rep. Matt Dollar, the Republican state representative for House District 45, will chair the Creative Arts and Entertainment Committee, which is one of the House's newest committees, according to a Thursday news release. District 45 includes East Cobb and some portions of Fulton County.
The Creative Arts and Entertainment committee will steward Georgia's entertainment industries and the jobs it supports across the state.
“In just a few short years Georgia has become a global leader in entertainment jobs and revenue,” Dollar said in the news release. “The work of Republican leadership, both past and present, has made Georgia the envy of the country and the world. I look forward to working with these industries to ensure we keep Georgia’s workers and companies at the top.”

Dollar — who was first elected to the state House of Representatives in 2002 — will also serve as a member on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Health, as well as the Energy, Utilities and Telecommunications, Insurance, Interstate Cooperation, and Legislative and Congressional Reapportionment committees, per the news release.
