Wheeler High School and seven other high school girls basketball teams, including host Kell High School, participate in the first Longhorn Shootout, a three-day varsity tournament. Wheeler tips off on opening day against McIntosh at 6 p.m. in the auxiliary gym. Other games will take place at 3 and 6 p.m. in Kell's main and auxiliary gyms over the three days.
