Flood Advisories Continue Into Monday
The weather is expected to be sunny but only in the 40s by Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Metro Atlanta's official start to the winter season will continue to be a soggy one as Christmas week begins.Â
A flood warning was in effect for Cobb until 10 p.m. Sunday, and a flood watch has been issued by the National Weather Service for the county until 7 a.m. Monday.Â
A very wet Sunday has brought at least one to three inches of rain to Cobb and other parts of metro Atlanta, and there have been reports of creeks and streams flooding or reading flood stage.Â
At 4 p.m., the NWS reported that water is out of the banks at Noonday Creek at Highway 92 in Cherokee, just north of the East Cobb area, and that most of the damage is affecting rural areas.Â
Heavy rain is expected to continue through Sunday night, with patchy fog between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday and a low temperature around 50.Â
The Monday forecast calls for showers, mainly in the morning, and that the rain could be heavy at times. Patchy fog is expected until around 10 a.m.Â
The warm temperatures from the weekend will be gone as Monday continues, with lows expected Monday night around freezing.Â
Tuesday, Christmas Eve day, will be sunny but cold, with a high in the low 40s.Â
Christmas Day weather on Wednesday is expected to be the same, sunny with a high in the mid 40s.Â
