Kell Students Welcome Teachers, Staff Back

Kell High School students showed up to the school on a day off to thank their teachers for their hard work.

EAST COBB, GA -- Dozens of Kell High School students came to school on one of their days off and gave their teachers a big thank you celebration to kick off the new year.

The students held up posters, blared happy music, and gave gifts to teachers and staff heading in for a workday on Jan. 4, according to Cobb County Schools.

Following an hour outside greeting teachers and staff, the students went inside to continue their gratitude in a faculty meeting. During the meeting, the students gave away a few more items to some lucky teachers, East Cobber Magazine says.

The demonstration of thanks was organized by the school’s Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy, who has hosted similar events in previous years.
