Fifty people from all across Cobb County have been selected for the program.
ATLANTA -- Leadership Cobb has selected 50 new participants for the 2019-2020 class. Leadership Cobb is a leadership development program focused on personal and professional growth through awareness, community resources and the social, political and economic needs of the community.
The 2020 class will be led by Co-Chairs Melissa Perignat, of Holt Ney Zatcoff & Wasserman, and Mike DeWitt, of Brightworth Financial; and Vice Co-Chairs, Wendy Bunch, of RE/MAX Pure, and Matt Teague, of Walton Communities. The 2020 class theme is “Focus. Insight. Vision.”
Class members have been selected from various industries, community organizations, government entities, religious organizations, volunteer programs and other organizations in Cobb County. Throughout the next year, the 50 selected participants will train and study the art of effective leadership through lectures, dialogues and retreats. The goal of their time with Leadership Cobb is to push their own self-discovery, expand upon their own pre-existing talents and skills, and to take their leadership abilities from potential to powerful.
