Local Eliminated from 'The Voice'

Marietta resident and Kennesaw Mountain High School alum Zach Seabaugh says he isn't finished making music despite leaving the show.

East Cobb, GA -- Marietta resident Zach Seabaugh was eliminated from NBC’s singing competition “The Voice” last night, but that doesn’t mean his musical dreams have come to an end.

“This is just the beginning,” Seabaugh wrote on Twitter following his elimination Tuesday night. “Thank you @blakeshelton , for believing in me. Ready to get to work! #TeamBlake”

Seabaugh was on country music star Blake Shelton’s team during the competition.

Seabaugh was vying for a spot in the final four, but failed to garner enough votes to make it through. The four contestants remaining are Jordan Smith, Emily Ann, Barrett Baber, and Jeffery Austin. The winner of the competition will be chosen next week.

The Kennesaw Mountain High School alumnus added that fans wouldn’t have to wait too long to hear him sing again.
