Local foster care organization named "Best Christian Workplace"

Alpharetta, GA – (Dec. 17, 2019) – A US-based Christian organization that measures the operations of non-profits across the globe has named Georgia-based FaithBridge Foster Care, a 2019 Certified Best Christian Workplace in its mission of Christ-centered child placement.

The Best Christian Workplaces Institute (BCWI), an international research-based organizational and human resources firm made the announcement in early December. Its vision is to see that Christian-based work environments are the most effective in the world.

“We chose to do an employee survey with Best Christian Workplaces Institute because it is the most widely used Christian-based engagement survey in the nation and has a highly regarded reputation,” said Bob Bruder-Mattson, FaithBridge Foster Care President and CEO. “As an organization that is committed to serving church partners, foster families and the children in their care, it is crucial that our staff is highly engaged in our mission. This survey helps us better understand our culture, where we need to improve and where we can continue to serve well.”

The results of the BCWI survey ranked FaithBridge Foster Care employees as having an exceptional level of staff engagement – defined as the degree to which employees are emotionally and spiritually connected and committed to their organization and their role.

As a certified "Best Christian Workplace," FaithBridge meets the objective, measurable standards of a flourishing workplace culture. FaithBridge employees responded to the Best Christian Workplaces Institute's online survey comprised of more than 50 questions on topics such as job satisfaction, management, commitment, and general workplace environment. They saw 100% staff participation in the survey.

Results include the following highlights:

• 91% would recommend FaithBridge Foster Care to others as a good place to serve.
• 97% would recommend that their family/friends use or support the programs and services at FaithBridge Foster care
• 98% agree that their supervisor cares about them as a person

This is the first year that FaithBridge Foster Care has been certified as a Best Christian Workplace.
