Christine Renee Dahlhauser (Dolly) - Born September 11, 1970 to Edith A. Dahlhauser and John S. Dahlhauser in Fort Dodge, Iowa has died at 4am on November 17th from Glioblastoma Brain Cancer at the age of 45. She passed away in her bed, in the comfort of her home, holding her husband’s hand surrounded by close family after an 18 month battle with brain cancer.

Christy was a High School State Champion XC runner in Warrensburg, Mo, then went on to run collegiately at William Jewel College in Liberty, Missouri. Christy received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, GA in 1999.

Dolly, as she was known by her East Cobb family, was an Anatomy teacher and Cross Country / Track and Field Coach at Pope High School where she found her purpose and impacted numerous lives.

Continuing to be an avid runner, She enjoy participating in yearly family tradition of Must Ministries Gobble Jog on Thanksgiving Morning, capturing many “Largest Group” or “Best Team Name” awards, and 1st place in her Age Group.

An introduction of Christy and Jeff was made possible by close family – Christy’s brother Michael and Jeff’s sister Stacie arranged an introduction for these two soul mates. A chance meeting at a Concert at 3 Dollar Café and then the first full date to a Cirque Du Soilel in December 1998. Married the following September 25th 1999. A loving 16yr Marriage – The ultimate Power Couple.

Christy survived by her husband Jeff Robertson and children Ryan Dahlhauser (22), Paul Dahlhauser (20) and Hannah Robertson (15).

Arrangements: A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, November 22nd, at 4pm., at Pope High School Gymnasium – 3001 Hembree Road NE, Marietta, GA 30062.
