In Loving Memory of Emilia Lehron Franco, 85

Mrs. Emilia Lehron Franco, age 85, of Marietta (formerly of Brooklyn, NY) passed away on November 2, 2015. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Kennesaw at 11 am on Friday, November 6 with Father Peeter Pedroza officiating.

Emilia was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved to Georgia from Brooklyn, NY 24 years ago. She was a seamstress and had “golden hands.” She sewed and cooked for her family and friends. She would do anything for anyone who asked. She was a world traveler and had many adventures. She was the coolest Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Emilia is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Larry Lehron and is survived by her loving children: Maria (Bob) Syvertson of Marietta, GA, Gladys Forero of Brooklyn, NY, Martha Santos of Hollywood, FL; 6 grandchildren: Gina (Rob), Bobby (Nicole), Walter (Michelle), Marcela (Steve), MarthaElisa, Fernando (Angelica) and 12 great-grandchildren: Amanda, Bobby, Caitlin, Robby, Stephen, Grace, Christopher, Brooke, Alissa, Gianna, Anthony and Isaiah.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 5th from 2pm until 4pm and 6pm until 8 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home.
